My name is Stephanie McLellan. I haven’t done anything too crazy in my life. Until now, the craziest thing I’ve done is move out of New York City to California without a job. That’s how I ended up meeting my husband, Jared, and getting a job at Google. Sometimes doing something crazy pays off.

And that’s what this blog is about. I’m off to do something a little crazy again. I’m taking three months off from work, unpaid, and traveling to Italy on my own. I don’t speak Italian, and have only been to Italy once previously, for about 36 hours (it was really nice!). I’m excited, and terrified. What will happen? I don’t know.
